Bad guys to love

February 22, 2008

One thing that Hollywood should learn from the Japanese is the way their villains behave. I don’t know why, but sometimes I dig the badguys more then the usual heroes. Japanese animations have a lot of these type of characters, and although some hollywood ‘outlaws” are also very cool, nothing can be compared with the pure awesome coolness that comes along with a manga badguys’ entrance. They don’t need to talk, they are just cool… and then they start to talk… I love the way the japs speak (no wonder I started learning their language).

It’s a pity that Hollywood haven’t realized this yet… all the directors and writers should sit for like a week-long-anime-marathon in order to fully fill their mind with Nippon-Cool-ity.

There are still some really great characters born in the Hills of Los Angeles tho’. Darth Vader is like the greatest mean-guy of all time (I really loved the young Anakin brought to life by Hayden) and also there is Agent Smith from the Matrix trilogy (must note, that it’s based on anime-cult).

But then again, we have animes. We have Uchiha Itachi from Naruto, Ulquiorra from Bleach, Yagami Light from Death Note, the whole crew from Black Lagoon, and so on and so on…..

Japs are cool… they know how to be cool it’s in their vein.

Whats in your earphone Mr Smith?
