Is Orestes really this Jaws like?

November 14, 2008

I don’t know what you guys think, but I’m usually a fan of well done posters for movies and theater stuff. Star Wars, 300, Dark Knight and stuff like those should be all over my room. If I had the chance to get my hands on those and I had a 50 feet high blank wall with enough room for all of my favorite poster stuff of course.

On the other hand I’ll instantly start running around screaming and cursing the gods of people who pay money for shitty posters. But when it comes to gory and ugly stuff, I get even more crazy, wishing a huge anal interaction for all those who raised a pen or any photoshop software to create gory materials, like the ones for the Jaw and motel series, which seem to be a never ending stories that print money…

But seems that attracting people these days can be only done by ugly and disgusting pictures. I remember the days when they tried to sell everything with kids, dogs and mostly with naked hot women. those days have passed so if you want to sell something you need to come up with some angst filled darky gory shit.

The city is full now with the National Theater’s new show, Orestes. Honestly, I had no idea what Orestes is, so I assumed that yeah, it is indeed some kind of ugly meat slice-and-dice… or whatever. So here comes the question, what is this shit on the following picture?

no, not motel 4 but a big what the fuck

No, it’s not an advertisement for Motel 4: Revenge of Orestes, and its not even Orestes: The Greek Zombie returns. It’s for the theater’s show, which is about, yes, Orestes, the greek mythological guy, who (according to wikipedia) killed his mother, who killed his father, and in the end he stood trial, killed a bunch more people and conquered the fucking world (okay, maybe just a few states in greece)

Now, if anyone can tell me, why on earth, do we have to see a wounded naked man, please raise your hands… this is in the subway, on the streets and on every fucking corner, where you are most probably chewing your favorite hotdog… or you just were, right before you saw this…

Did you know that Batman has his own turkish city?

November 10, 2008

Oh yes, there is indeed a city (or town or whatever) which wears the name of our beloved Dark Knight.

And this Turkish city is on a rage against Chris Nolan’s masterpiece… Batman belongs to the Turks! Oh my God, what people do for some more money…

You don’t have to be FBI to gather info on anyone.

August 3, 2008

Beware folks, because Agents are spreading across the world. Did you already register yourself to facebook, iwiw, myspare or any of those “Yey I have a lot of friends online” portals? If yes, than beware, because people are going to stalk you…

If you ever made a hate-post on any forum, you should check if anything about you is available in your profile… if your nick is the same as the nick on facebook or whereever, beware fellow citizen, you’ll be stalked…

I mean it’s pretty easy… you go on a forum or wherever, talk with some people, and you’ll start to wonder what is behind the avatar… you’ll either go for their mail address or nick name, then facebook tells you all.

These days, if you are not registered on facebook, myspace or iwiw, then you don’t exist… if you are registered, then you exist for anyone.

Pretty much fun tho’, when you see a hot chick on a board, start so search for the truth and find out that the 20 year old girl is actually 13, and you’ll start wondering if the police can scan your fantasy which is made of pure evidence for crime by then.

Tonight: Euro 2008 Showdown

June 29, 2008

It all comes to the end… The Euro 2008 is almost over, we had a lot of fun moments and some really borning ones. I was really suprised of the Turkish teams performance, they played really well, giving all they’ve got. And the Russians played also pretty well… too bad they failed against spain twice.

But this Arsavin guy really has some talent, that’s for sure, he should try one of the better eurpean leagues (like the english)

But to be honest, there were only a few great matches, not too many… Russia against the Dutch was great, Germany played well against Portugal… reall nothing else comes to my mind.

Anyways, tonight isthe last match… Germany against Spain. I’ll cheer for the germans, but I think the spanish have a better chance of winning. They are in a great form and the germans haven’t played very well lately… only against portugal but they failed against croatia, and also almost failed against turkey… we’ll see what’s going to happen tonight.

68 days till Sziget festival

June 4, 2008

I already bought my tickets for the whole awesome funfesta that’ll start in a bit more than 2 months. We’ll have lots of superb material there, even I can’t believe some bands will actually be on stage… it’s okay that to call the Roskilde festival the best in Europe, but this one is way more cheap, still has a lot of great bands… and it’s ours.

Iron Maiden is just the start of the fun, we’ll have R.E.M., Sex Pistols (although I have to admit, they are not as powerful as many years ago, but it’s still SexPistols) Also, there’ll be Kaiser Chiefs, Jamiroquai, Serj Tankian (I hope he’ll do the Holiday in Cambodia cover) Flogging Molly (love that irish pubfightingskatepunkshitthing), and Pendulum Live.

old but still... punks never die...

The Wombats, Babyshambles and Alainis Morissette are also interesting on the main stage, but I’ll probably go drink beer during these performances.

And let’s not forget about Zagar, Neo and Colorstar! Woohoo

So only 68 days left… till we get all of this (and many more unlisted)
